Now look even after 3 attempts only one of you guys had made it to MDI. Seri, where are you guys going now? Oh is the movie good? Eat out and enjoy da, dai take him to the restaurant we went last week it is good.”
Priceless words from a person whom I considered equivalent to my father. Someone who was frank in his assessment of all of us friends and at same time never stopped us from going our way. Backed us to the core and was definitely one of the reasons for me to have jumped into doing an MBA from GL when he said, “Dai, in country not everyone is going to get into IIM, it does not matter where you study, if you are good you will shine anywhere”
He was someone whom all of us friends from school loved and had fun interacting with. Today it pains me that he is no more.
Sir, am sure you are going to be watching over us from above. Assure you to make you proud.
