This post should have been the first one, where I let the world know why I am here, why I started blogging blah blah blah. But I just decided that this should come second as a follow up to something that I actually wanted to post. In addition to giving all the acknowledgements this would also reinforce the fact that, this blog was not a one post thing. Though I may not blog regularly or promise a post within a specific interval, I would strive to keep this blog alive and running.
Though I never wrote a blog as such, I had been following quite a few of them for the last two years, which should come as no surprise given the amount of free time I have at disposable in my company. There had been sporadic attempts by me in the past at scribbling something but those were for select eyes only, as I was always apprehensive of posting them in a public domain like a blog. Then what made me do so now? Threats and cajoling from friends at office and those who read my previous writeups as I call them. At the same time, I was inspired by quite a few blogs, not all of them by people I know. Aswin(thegreatthree.blogspot.com), Psyche(nick name ofcourse... for the world Mani and to blogger roguegene), Adhi(reachadhi.blogspot, now busy in iim), Anu(anucharan.com), Mr Layman(laymansrevelations.blogspot, for all I know a fellow sw professional in hyd), Shiva (a friend of my roomie, recordsinajournal.blogspot), dubukku(dubukku.blogspot) and many many more.
I have a bad habit, though I read quite a few blogs I never leave a comment behind. After getting my share of thrashings for the same I have started commenting on blogs of people I know. So, if you read my blogs, but do not leave a comment behind, perfectly understandableJ. But drop a mail if you want to.
When I started a blog of my own, I promised myself that I will restrain from airing any personal views or write about day to day happenings. I will try to stick to that. This is just because I want this to remain as entertaining as possible without conflicting with any of your views. But I might tweak this rule a bit if needed in the future...
If I drag this any further then am sure none of you would return again.
Will be back soon with a new post, hopefully entertaining enough.
Well, I was just about to leave without writing a comment. But then ... :)
